Origin Story
VOCEQ was born from a moment of frustration—the kind that reveals a universal truth.
Dr. Aleksandr Zhuk, VOCEQ's founder, had just picked up his car from the dealer after exceptional service. When the feedback email arrived, he genuinely wanted to reciprocate. They'd taken great care of him; he wanted to return the favor with a great review.
The email, sent through a leading enterprise Voice of Customer platform, asked a single question: "How well did we do?" Aleksandr clicked 10 out of 10. Done. Or so he thought.
Before he knew it, he was forwarded to a mega-survey with question after question, each demanding another 1-to-10 rating. The moment he wanted to give turned into an obligation he didn't have time for. He felt almost cheated.
He closed the survey.
And then came the question that changed everything:
"Why didn't they just ask me how I feel?"
That simple, human insight—that's where VOCEQ began. Dr. Zhuk dug into the research and discovered what he'd felt instinctively: voice captures emotion, nuance, and authenticity that rating scales never can. People speak 3-4 times faster than they type. Gen Z and modern customers already use voice notes daily. And most importantly, how someone feels predicts loyalty far better than what number they click.
